TRIP DETAILS

Among the amazing wonders in the world. Mt Makalu is the fifth-highest mountain in the world, rising to 8,463m (27,765 feet). Mt. Makalu is situated in the heart of the eastern Himalayas, albeit just about 14 miles east of Mt. Everest. The base camp is normally set at around 5,600m, and then four camps follow before reaching the top. The first camp is at 6,100m, camp 2 is at 6,500m, the third camp is at 7,400m, and the last camp is at 7,800m.

With the amazing beaten routes and amazing landscape area, we can find five major ecological zones where lush, tropical arun valleys, dense forests of rhododendron and fir and alpine meadows can be found. At the base of Mt. Makalu, there lies a natural wonder: the Barun Valley. This valley facilitates stunning elevated waterfalls falling inside the deep gorges, diverse species of flora and fauna, and rich cultures of ethnic communities like Sherpa and Kirat.

The Makalu expedition makes you feel the best moments you have ever felt in life. You will be able to see the natural beauties and the amazing cultural diversity in the green nature. After reaching the top of the fifth-highest mountain, you will realize the heavenly moment with amazing panoramic mountain ranges in a snowy world. The trail will be a bit hard, but it can’t compare with the beauty from the top of the world.

Although the trail and climbing sections are physically demanding, no challenge can outweigh the extraordinary beauty and sense of achievement experienced at the summit. Himalaya Sacred Trek and Expedition ensures a well-organized, safe, and responsible Makalu Expedition, guided by experienced Sherpa climbers and supported by carefully planned logistics, making this ascent a truly remarkable Himalayan adventure.
