We depart early for Beni, driving through Nepal’s scenic countryside of green hills, rivers, farms, and villages. Upon arrival, enjoy views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the Annapurna range. Time for last-minute shopping and exploring the town. Overnight in Beni.
A scenic drive through the landscapes of western Nepal with views of villages and the Himalayan ranges. Darbang is mainly inhabited by the Chhetri and Gurung communities. Enjoy a warm welcome and meet the rest of the trekking crew. Overnight in Darbang.
We begin our first hike after breakfast, passing through the villages of Takum and Sibang. Enjoy classic Nepali scenery with traditional houses and views of Gurja Himal and Putha Hiunchuli. After crossing the Dhara Khola suspension bridge, we reach Muri, a Magar village known for its warm hospitality and traditional lifestyle. Overnight in Muri.
We descend to streams and cross the Muri Khola suspension bridge, passing farms and small settlements. After climbing to a ridge with views of Mt. Ghustung South (6,465m), we cross the Myagdi River and continue through forests and grasslands to Boghara. Overnight in a tent camp at the school grounds.
We follow a trail through steep forests along the western bank of the Myagdi River, passing the remote village of Jyardan. After reaching Lipshe (2,080m), we continue through quiet green forests to Dovan. Overnight in a tent camp.
The trail winds through dense vegetation of ferns, bamboo, and rhododendron. We gradually gain altitude with a mix of climbs and level sections, enjoying mountain views and peaceful surroundings. Overnight in a tent camp at Sallaghari.
We trek through pine, rhododendron, and birch forests, gradually moving above the tree line into juniper and alpine shrubs. The trail follows small streams and bamboo forests before reaching Italian Base Camp, located on a lateral moraine. Overnight in camp.
A rest day for acclimatization. Short hikes and relaxation help prepare for higher elevations while enjoying the surrounding alpine scenery.
We begin on a rocky trail before entering glacier terrain. One of the more demanding days, with slow, careful movement across moraines and narrow gorges. Enjoy panoramic views of the west face of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Tsaurabong Peak (6,395m), and Manapati Peak. We reached a wide grassy area known as the Japanese Base Camp. Overnight in a tent camp.
One of the most memorable and challenging days. We carefully traverse glaciers and lateral moraines, with breathtaking Himalayan views. We pass the origin of the Myagdi Khola and the Chhonbardan Glacier before reaching Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Dhaulagiri range, Tukuche Peak, and dramatic icefalls. Overnight at Base Camp.
We continue across glaciers toward French Pass. The final section of the pass may require basic rope skills. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the vast Hidden Valley. Descending, we see Mukut Himal, Tashi Kang, and Sita Chuchura surrounding the valley. Overnight in Hidden Valley.
We descend toward Dhampus Pass with views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The trail crosses high-altitude terrain and avalanche-prone slopes before following rocky paths with stunning views of the Nilgiri and Annapurna ranges. We reached Dhampus Base Camp for an overnight stay.
An early start for the summit attempt. After 5-6 hours of ascent, we reach the peak and are rewarded with breathtaking views of Annapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and many other Himalayan giants. After spending time at the summit, we descend back to base camp in 2-3 hours. Overnight at Dhampus Base Camp.
We descend through high-altitude terrain with continued views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The trail enters forested areas with striking views of the Nilgiri Range and the Kali Gandaki Valley. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
We descend along the Kali Gandaki Valley to Jomsom. Due to strong afternoon winds, flights operate in the morning, so we stay overnight in Jomsom to catch the early flight.
Early morning flight to Pokhara with spectacular mountain views. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the lakeside city, relax, or explore local attractions.
We drive along the Prithvi Highway, enjoying scenic rivers, hills, and roadside settlements. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Time for rest or souvenir shopping. Overnight in Kathmandu.
A day to relax after the trek. Explore Thamel and Asan, enjoy cafés, shopping, or cultural sites. In the evening, your tour officer will take you to a traditional Nepali cultural restaurant for a farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! We will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
