TRIP DETAILS

The Ama Dablam Base Camp trek will take you to the foot of one of the most beautiful mountains of the eastern region, Ama Dablam. It means “mother necklace” as the hanging glacier looks like a traditional necklace worn by the Sherpa women. You might also know Ama Dablam by its second name, the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas”, because of its soaring ridges and steep faces.

The Ama Dablam Base Camp trip with Himalayan Sacred Trek and Expedition will take you to some of the most popular places in Nepal, like Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is also known as the door to the Himalayas, as most trekkers pass through this amazing village to go on their adventures.

Throughout the trek, you will stay in comfortable, family-run lodges operated by local Sherpa communities, allowing you to experience warm hospitality, traditional culture, and daily mountain life. Surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery, prayer flags, mani walls, and snow-capped peaks, the Himalaya Sacred Trek and Expedition offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and Himalayan serenity.

Highlights of the Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek

  • Magnificent views of popular mountains
  • Get an inside look at how they live in the heart of the Himalayas
  • Visiting Tengboche Monastery
  • Remarkable views of the Khumbu icefall
  • Hike to the Everest View hotel
