Summary

Furi Sherpa (born 14 March 1984, KhijiPhalate-5, Okhaldhunga, Nepal) is a professional climbing guide currently working with Himalayan Sacred Treks.He has summited Mount Everest (8848.86 m) five times ; four times from the South Col route (Nepal side) and once from the North Col route (Tibet side). Furi has also reached the summit of Manaslu (8163 m), one of the worldโ€™s most dangerous 8000-meter peaks.At 41 years old, he remains an active and highly respected high-altitude guide with many climbing seasons ahead.
