Nepal Visa on Arrival: Easy Guide for Tourists

The Immigration Offices in Nepal make it simple for tourists to get a visa when they arrive. This helps people flying to Nepal for lesure, vacation, adventure, trekking, culture, explore and many more activities. The visa on arrival process is quick and easy. You might wait in line during busy times like spring or fall. To skip lines, get your visa first from a Nepalese embassy or consulate outside Nepal. You decide what works best for you.

Key Rules for Your Nepal Tourist Visa

If you get your visa from a Nepalese embassy, you must enter Nepal within six months of the issue date. Your stay time starts on the day you arrive in Nepal. All visas you get on arrival are tourist visas. They let you leave and come back to Nepal many times. The tourist visa on arrival is the only way to enter Nepal as a visitor. Even if you come for trekking, climbing mountains, or seeing family, start with a tourist visa. Later, you can change it to fit your plans at the Department of Immigration. You need to show the right papers for that.
